A Technology That Helps You Perform Your Work
The stable leveling option improves leveling accuracy by decreasing the engine speed by 15 percent at intervals when machine jerks are detected, and then systematically increasing the engine speed when the grader stabilizes. The Cat GRADE option with Cross Slope helps maintain the desired cross slope by automatically controlling one side of the blade. The optional AccuGrade™ Cat system uses positioning and guidance technologies, machine sensors, and automatic blade control for faster, simpler, and more efficient leveling operations. The optional automatic articulation is useful when maneuvering in tight spaces or near curves, obstacles, and turns.
Move More, Consume Less
The C13 Cat engine complies with American EPA Tier 4 Final/European Stage V standards, or with equivalent Tier 3/Stage IIIA or Tier 2/Stage II emissions standards, depending on the emissions standards of the country in question. The standard economy mode can be activated to limit the maximum engine speed, which helps reduce fuel consumption. The standard VHP Plus (Variable Horse Power Plus) function provides optimal power in all gears. The standard automatic differential lock unlocks the differential in turns and relocks it in straight lines, making driving easier and providing better protection for the powertrain.
More Control and Efficiency
The load detection system and advanced electrohydraulic features provide the driver with better control of equipment and increased hydraulic performance. Pressure compensation and proportional priority valves provide different flow rates for the head and rod sides of the cylinder, ensuring a consistent and predictable response from the machine. The balanced hydraulic flow is proportioned to ensure simultaneous operation of all equipment without slowing down the engine or the speed of certain equipment.
Designed for Operators
Simple and intuitive, the manipulator controls replace levers, allowing to reduce hand and arm movement by 78% to reduce driver fatigue. The optional advanced manipulators allow the driver to efficiently and safely control automated leveling functions without having to release the controls. The variable blade lifting settings (fine, normal or rough) allow the driver to meet the needs of the application. With a simple press of a button, the articulation with center return function automatically repositions the machine in a straight line, regardless of the starting steering angle.
Integrated Security Features
The optional rear camera improves visibility at the back of the machine. The battery cut-off switch and engine stop switches are located at ground level. The driver presence detection system keeps the parking brake engaged and hydraulic equipment deactivated until the driver is seated and the machine is ready to operate. The hydraulic lock disables all equipment functions while providing machine steering control. This safety feature is particularly useful when traveling on the road. The optional seat belt indicator contributes to safer driving habits.
Reduced Maintenance Time
Convenient access from the top of the circle to the patented adjustable height inserts and wear strips, making it easy to add or replace them. The shield's fastening system without shims uses vertical and horizontal adjustment screws to keep the shield's wear strips aligned, thereby reducing blade friction and allowing for precise control.
