The C7.1 Engine can run on biodiesel up to B20 and complies with the following emission standards: Chinese Stage III for non-road engines, UN-ECE R96 Stage IIIA, and Brazilian MAR-1, equivalent to the US EPA Tier 3/European Stage IIIA standard. The advanced hydraulic circuit offers the optimal balance of power and efficiency while giving you the necessary control to meet precise excavation needs. Advanced viscous mounting brackets reduce cabin vibrations by up to 50% compared to previous hydraulic excavator models. Effortlessly maneuver the hydraulic excavator using easily accessible controls located in front of you. Benefit from ample storage space for your equipment inside the cabin under and behind the seat, as well as overhead and in the consoles. A cup holder, document holder, bottle holder, and coat hook are also provided. Easy To Use
Start the engine via a push button; use a Bluetooth key fob or the unique driver ID function. Program the desired power mode and manipulator preferences using the user ID; the hydraulic excavator will memorize your settings and reapply them for all your subsequent jobs. Having trouble penetrating hard materials? The Auto Dig Boost function automatically increases power by 8% when needed, for better bucket penetration, shorter cycle times, and higher payloads. Need more lifting force during your work? The automatic heavy lift provides an 8% power increase precisely when and for as long as you need it. Moving the hydraulic excavator is even easier with the Cat joystick steering. Just press a button and use one hand to move forward and turn, instead of using both hands on levers or both feet on pedals. Simplify machine operation with a single click of a joystick button. Additional auxiliary relays allow you to power on or off a CB radio, beacon light, and even a dust suppression system, without ever letting go of the joystick. Tiltrotator attachments, whether Cat or other brands, work seamlessly with the Cat 2D Grade, Assist, Payload, and Electronic Barrier modules. No additional hardware is required, simply select "Third Party Tiltrotator System Installation" on the monitor, calibrate, and get to work. Navigate quickly on the high-resolution monitor. A second 254 mm (10 in) monitor is available for advanced grading control. Protect your hammer from overheating and rapid wear. The automatic hammer shutdown function warns you after 15 seconds of continuous priming, then automatically stops the hammer after 30 seconds, helping to increase tool service life. Find the tool you need, even if it's under brush or debris. The hydraulic excavator's built-in Bluetooth reader searches for any Cat asset tracking-enabled work tool within a distance of 60 meters (200 feet). The Cat PL161 Equipment Locator is a Bluetooth device that allows you to quickly and easily find your attachments and other equipment. The hydraulic excavator's built-in Bluetooth reader or the Cat app on your phone can automatically detect the device's location. Save time and energy with the tool recognition feature. A simple shake of the attached tool confirms its identity. It also verifies that all equipment settings are correct so you can quickly and efficiently get to work. Integrated Security Features
Cat Detect - Person Detection protects the most valuable resources on construction sites, people. The system uses intelligent cameras with depth sensors to provide visual and audible warnings to operators, so they can take quick action when a person is too close to the hydraulic excavator. Enhance operator safety by adding Cat Command to your fleet. The remote control system allows you to avoid many potential risks. The new no-line-of-sight comes with Wi-Fi radio, cameras, and a microphone, allowing you to work from anywhere. The 2D electronic barrier prevents the hydraulic excavator from exiting defined points set by the operator; the system is compatible with bucket and clamp combinations, as well as hammer, grapple, and half-shell attachments. Lift Assist prevents tipping. With visual and audible warnings, you will know if your load is within the safe working range of the hydraulic excavator. Access 100% of daily maintenance points at ground level (no need to climb onto the hydraulic excavator). The standard ROPS (Rollover Protective Structure) cabin complies with ISO 12117-2:2008. Enjoy excellent visibility in the trench, in every direction, and behind you with smaller cabin pillars, larger windows, and a flat engine hood. The standard hydraulic safety lever inhibits all hydraulic and travel functions when in the lowered position. When activated, the ground-level engine shutdown switch cuts off fuel supply and stops the machine. A rear and right-side camera are installed as standard. Upgrade the system to 360° visibility and easily see objects and personnel around the hydraulic excavator at a glance. The new right-side maintenance platform provides easy, safe, and quick access to the upper maintenance platform; its steps are covered with a non-slip perforated plate to prevent slipping.
