Security
Certified cabin with protection (Superior protection) plus an optional front protection. Excellent visibility with a clear view of the excavation environment and an upward view thanks to the full-sky roof, plus an optional two-camera system to reduce blind spots and improve situational awareness. Safer access and exit thanks to non-slip walkways and an optional 45° motorized access walkway. Five emergency stop switches, including one easily accessible in the cabin, allow for cutting off the electrical circuit in case of emergency. Safer maintenance thanks to a lockable starter and battery cut-off switch cabinet.
Cabin
The heated seat with pneumatic suspension and fully adjustable can be adjusted according to the size and weight of the driver. It also includes lumbar support, wide armrests/wrist rests, and a wide retractable seat belt to provide the driver with impeccable comfort and support. Ideal interior ambient temperature thanks to air conditioning, heating, and defroster, and improved filtration thanks to the fresh air filter that removes dust and particles, plus a second internal filter that cleans the recirculated air inside the cabin. Easily accessible ergonomic controls with an electro-hydraulic servo control that offers dynamic and precise response without hydraulic pipes present in the cabin. Large 178 mm (7 in) color touchscreen for easy troubleshooting and maintenance assistance. Independently adjustable manipulator consoles and manipulator controls to modify the grid for enhanced safety and optimized driver experience.
Reliability And Longevity
Extra-robust Cat track train designed to increase productive time, provide a longer service life, and withstand increased stress on rough mining site terrain. It incorporates features such as grease lubrication, GLT4 sealing technology, and lubricated bearing components that increase its lifespan by at least 2,000 hours compared to dry chain designs. The exclusive Cat design of the 2-Retention Ring Chains (PPR2) mechanically locks the link onto the axis to resist axis displacement and link cracking. This ensures reliable sealing and maximum lifespan for the chains. Extra-robust fixed axle rollers and idler wheels offer superior performance, longer useful life, reduced internal friction and overheating, and eliminate the need for grease consumption and the number of conduits. Complete extra-robust chain that allows for high loads on the terrain and reduced pitch extension wear, increasing chain lifespan by 20% to 40%. Structures designed and manufactured to withstand the most intensive excavation conditions, with high-strength steel; full penetration, profiled and ground welds at critical junctions; and booms and arms subjected to post-welding stress relief treatment. The independent and efficient oil cooling circuit protects and extends the lifespan of hydraulic components.
Performance and Productivity
Faster cycle times and increased productivity thanks to the Cat C27 Engine, which is the most powerful in its class and provides optimal performance over an exceptional service life. Fast cycle times and improved energy efficiency thanks to a closed loop swing circuit, which also generates less heat. Pressure compensation and proportional priority (PPPC) hydraulic circuit adjusts the flow of hydraulic oil to ensure smooth and predictable operation and improved operator efficiency. Load Enhanced Anticipatory Control (LEAC) ensures faster and more consistent engine regulation, preventing overload and reducing fuel consumption. Engine Torque Load Control (ETLC) reduces the output of the hydraulic pump based on available engine torque, desired engine speed, actual engine speed, and estimated hydraulic load. This technology provides the necessary power for the machine's functions to quickly and efficiently move material.
Soil Attack Buckets and Tools
Godets et outils d'attaque du sol (GET, Ground Engaging Tools) designed to optimize long lifespan and productivity, ideally suited for your excavator and application and can be refurbished with available wear components as spare parts. Integrated to function as part of a machine circuit, allowing you to achieve optimal productivity levels and minimize cost per ton. Tool-less GET specifically designed for the 6015 and does not require special tools for removal and installation. New standard rock bucket equipped with the new M75 GET, which is 20% stronger than the previous C70 GET and can move 8.1 m3 (10.6 yd3) of material while carrying up to 14.6 tonnes (16.1 US t). Wear sets protecting your investment, including special reinforcement material and covers for edges, fins, and heel.
Easy Maintenance
Access to the electronic device AND CAT that allows dealership maintenance personnel to diagnose and prevent problems more easily. Minimize downtime with improved warning levels for hydraulic oil temperature and better data link diagnostics. Visual control ports for orientation drive gears and ring gear, grouping of charging ports and charging tool, as well as the new electronic pilot pressure monitoring system via the ET. Ground-level maintenance center facilitating access to quick fill fittings for diesel fuel and grease. Discover maintenance-free retaining ring chains specially machined to extend service life and fatigue resistance of shafts/bushings.
Durability
The C27 Engine, subject to very strict standards, complies with Tier 4 EPA emissions standards for the United States/Stage V for the European Union without the need for Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF), which saves time and reduces maintenance costs. Fuel consumption reduction with the Load Enhanced Anticipatory Control (LEAC) system. Soundproofed power module to maintain low noise levels.
