High Performance With Reduced Fuel Consumption
Use up to 10% less fuel compared to the previous model, without impacting your productivity. Work faster with up to 20% more torque. The C4.4 engine complies with US EPA Tier 3 and European StageIIIA emissions standards and can run on biodiesel up to B20. The advanced electrohydraulic circuit provides the optimal balance of power and efficiency while giving you the necessary control to meet your needs. The priority valve places hydraulic pressure and flow where you need it. Enhance lifting capacity and improve control of heavy loads with the heavy lift mode. Program and store your preferred power mode and manipulator settings with your driver ID. The machine will automatically remember your choices, reducing driver stress and fuel consumption. The Cat app helps you manage the location, operating hours, and maintenance scheduling of your fleet. It also alerts you when maintenance is needed and allows you to request assistance from your local Cat dealer. Product Link™ is included as standard so you can remotely monitor the machine's status, location, operating hours, and fuel consumption on demand.

Equip your MH3024 with an optional 15 kW alternator for magnet operation. The alternator controls are fully integrated into the cabin monitor. Work Comfortably in the Brand New Cabin
The Deluxe seat is heated and adjustable thanks to pneumatic suspension, while the Premium seat is heated, air-conditioned, and automatically adjustable. The cabin is equipped with a wide adjustable seat to accommodate drivers of all sizes. Effortlessly maneuver the machine using easily accessible controls. The standard automatic air conditioning keeps you at the ideal temperature throughout the day. Benefit from ample storage space for your equipment inside the cabin under and behind the seat, overhead, and in the consoles. A cup holder, document holder, bottle holder, and coat hook are also provided. Use the USB ports of the radio and standard Bluetooth® technology to connect your personal devices.
Reliability and Longevity You Can Count On
You can rely on your machine to withstand wear over the years. The boom, arm, and other high-stress areas are reinforced with thick multi-plate fabrications, castings, and forgings to increase quality and reliability. Work up to 3,000 m (9,840 ft) above sea level without derating. Don't let temperature be a barrier to work. The handling shovel offers a high ambient temperature capacity of 52 °C (125 °F) and a cold start capacity of -18 °C (0 °F). The auto preheating accelerates the reheating of hydraulic oil in cold weather and helps extend the lifespan of components.
Security
The cabin protection function allows you to avoid any contact between your equipment and the cabin. The electronic barrier functionality prevents your machine from exiting outside the settings defined by the operator. Secure your machine with the user ID. Use your PIN code on the monitor to activate the start function via a push button. Access all daily maintenance points at ground level without having to climb onto the machine. Benefit from excellent 360-degree visibility from the cabin thanks to smaller pillars, larger windows, and a flat engine hood. Rear and side vision cameras are standard with the optional 360-degree visibility system. Resistant to violent shocks and impacts, the thicker windshields meet EN356 P5A standards. The cabin air pre-filtration reduces dust entry and air contamination. Upgrade to the optional advanced cabin filtration system for more protection against hazardous particles. The joystick steering eliminates the steering column, improving front visibility and increasing cabin entry width. There is an option with a steering wheel for drivers who prefer it. The new maintenance platform allows easy, safe, and quick access to the upper maintenance platform; its steps are covered with a non-slip perforated plate to prevent slipping. The standard hydraulic safety lever inhibits all hydraulic and translation functions when in the lowered position. The optional Falling Object Guard System (FOGS) protects against debris projection and falling objects. When activated, the ground-level stop switch cuts off the fuel supply to the engine and stops the machine. Optional boom and arm lowering check valves prevent flow back, thus keeping your front linkage in place in case of unexpected hydraulic circuit power loss.
Excellent Ease of Maintenance
Follow the filter's lifespan and maintenance intervals of your hydraulic excavator through the monitor inside the cabin. Replace all fuel filters at a synchronized duration of 1,000 hours. Expect the lifespan of the new air intake filter with cyclone pre-filter to reach 1,000 hours. The new hydraulic oil filter offers better filtration performance, as well as check valves to keep the oil perfectly clean when the filter is replaced. In addition, its lifespan is extended and its replacement interval is 3,000 hours (50% more than previous filter designs). The high-performance electric drive cooling fans only operate when necessary. You can program the intervals at which the fan rotation direction should automatically reverse, so that the radiators stay clean without interrupting your work. The S·O·SSM ports simplify maintenance and allow for quick and easy sampling of liquid for analysis purposes.
