Achieve Your Production Goals Well-watered tracks have a direct impact on the cycle times of the fleet, allowing you to reach production goals. Spend less time maintaining tracks with watering techniques that solve problems of excessive or insufficient watering. Avoid damage to dump trucks and reduce unexpected downtime by having well-watered tracks. The pump has a programmable start and automatically stops when the tank is empty, preventing damage caused by a pump running dry. The 777 is faster and more efficient thanks to a 7% increase in torque, providing more power, new transmission controls, and higher travel speeds.
Efficiency And Durability
Save Water. Use Only What You Need. The Cat Water Delivery System (WDS) allows you to manage water in a cost-effective and sustainable way, enabling you to do more with less. The WDS uses an automatic start and stop function to avoid excessive watering at road intersections. The WDS provides variable water flow based on the speed of the truck for more efficient water distribution. The water cannon operates while the truck is idling, reducing fuel consumption by up to 50%.
More Tasks With Less Fuel
Reduce Your Fuel Costs Automatic downshifting to neutral: when the 777 is waiting in idle mode in the forward gear position, the transmission automatically shifts to neutral to prevent torque converter stalling and engine speed increase. Engine idle shutdown: when your dump truck is in the parked position and remains idle for longer than the predefined duration, it triggers an engine shutdown to save fuel. This feature can be adjusted, enabled, or disabled according to your specific needs. Speed limitation: it is still possible to use the dump truck's gear limiting function, but Caterpillar offers a speed limiting function that allows the truck to operate using the gear that offers the best energy efficiency. The new APECS transmission controls increase energy efficiency by maintaining momentum and speed on slopes. WATER SUPPLY SYSTEM: The water cannon operates at idle, reducing fuel consumption by up to 50% during cannon operation.
