The Cat D11 tractor offers improved productivity at a lower cost, with a reduction of up to 6% in overall cost per cubic meter of material compared to the previous model. Equipped with performance-enhancing features, the D11 helps improve the efficiency of your pushing operations. The stator clutch differential automatically releases the stator when torque is not required, resulting in improved powertrain efficiency and reduced fuel consumption. The high-power reverse speeds up non-productive movements to reduce cycle times, while the load-sensing hydraulic system provides more power to the tractor, increasing responsiveness and energy efficiency. Advanced technologies are fully integrated into the tractor, creating intelligent machines to provide the best information to the operator and maximize your operation's productivity.

Performance And Efficiency
The stator clutch differential automatically releases the stator when torque is not required. This results in improved efficiency of the powertrain for reduced fuel consumption. The high-power reverse gear accelerates non-productive movements for faster cycle times and up to 8% higher productivity. The high-efficiency load sensing hydraulic circuit improves the response of the hydraulic equipment and energy efficiency. The multifunction touchscreen in the cabin allows the driver to monitor machine performance and modify machine settings to adapt performance to the current task.
Driver Comfort
Without equivalent, the cabin is equipped with improved ergonomics, a fully adjustable pneumatic suspension seat, and easy-to-access and use controls. The suspended undercarriage absorbs impacts and reduces shocks transferred to the undercarriage by up to 50%, allowing for a smoother and more comfortable ride. The electronic controls for steering, ripper, and dozer are easily accessible and allow for safe and precise maneuvers. The cabin-mounted silent blocks reduce noise levels and vibrations. And strategically placed air vents evenly distribute airflow for maximum comfort.
Security
The driving position offers exceptional visibility, with strategically placed mirrors, a clear view of the work areas at the front and rear, as well as a 360° vision system (optional) for an overhead view. The motorized access ladder improves access and exit, it has been updated with the ability to climb and descend with the engine off. Option of a swivel cabin door for opening to the left or right. The access lighting can be controlled from the cabin as well as from the power station at ground level. The timed descent lighting allows for exiting the machine with lighting.
Technology And Innovation
The Automated Blade Assist (ABA) feature comes standard with the dual tilt function, which automates the movement of the blade to multiple predefined key positions. AutoCarry™ (optional) provides automatic blade control during the transport phase, maintaining optimal slip for improved performance and up to a 15% increase in productivity. The automatic ripper control (optional) automatically adjusts engine speed and ripper depth to minimize chain slip, reducing driver fatigue and machine wear. Cat Grade with 3D module allows for precise positioning of the cutting blade, eliminating the need for masts and cables on the blade. The system also reduces the need for stakes and leveling control.
Solutions Cat Minestar™
The D11 comes out of the factory compatible with Cat MineStar™ technology, which pushes precision, efficiency, and safety even further. MineStar Command for dozing offers multiple levels of remote control and even semi-autonomous operation, increasing driver safety and comfort, as well as tractor fleet productivity. MineStar Terrain's automatic blade control provides complete automation, full blade load, and integrated protection against excessive spoilage in the machine control system. MineStar Terrain for grading controls deposits, bench height, cycle times, as well as the volume of spoil and fill. The data provided by the office informs the driver where to dig or clear, how much material to move, when enough has been moved, and even if too much has been moved.
Blades and Equipment
Cat blades offer superior load capacity and are particularly effective on hard materials. The D11 has an interior angle of 29.3° between the bottom of the blade and the ground. This clearance angle allows the blade to penetrate and load better. Cat blades are able to withstand bending and torsional distortion and offer increased resistance to wear, without sacrificing balance or machine performance. Special blades include high-capacity blades for lightweight materials, including coal blades and recycling blades. Special accessories include a multi-toothed backfill ripper, a multi-toothed coal ripper (five teeth), a counterweight, and a rear hitch bar with counterweight.
Built to go far
The D11 is designed to withstand distance, with a redesigned chassis and structure for greater durability, a larger balance with improved bearing, a robust support frame, blade and ripper axle bores with replaceable bearings, and replaceable thrust arm trunnion bearing inserts. The robust variable displacement pumps of the new load sensing hydraulic circuit optimize cooling, for extended life of components and seals. The powertrain and main components are designed to be refurbished to offer you a cost-effective second life, providing performance equal to new, at a fraction of the cost of new.
