Proven Reliability
The C7.1 CAT® Engine offers high power density with a combination of proven electronic, fuel, and air circuits. It features an electric fuel priming pump, a fuel water separator, and a secondary filtration system. The rigorous design of the components and the results of the machine validation processes result in unprecedented reliability and availability.
Long Lifespan
The transmission and extra-strong axles support extreme applications. The powershift automatic transmission with intermediate shaft (5F/3R) is equipped with long-lasting components. The full-flow hydraulic filtration system with an additional filtration loop improves the reliability of the hydraulic circuit and the lifespan of the components. A next-generation equipment pump increases its flow at a lower engine speed and improves hydraulic response.
Work Comfortably in the Brand New Cabin
Seat and suspension easily adjustable for better driver comfort. It is available with three levels of equipment and can be equipped with a 4-point harness (kit). Extra space to increase legroom and adjustable seat controls for optimal driver comfort and performance. The automatic air conditioning system maintains the desired temperature in the cabin. The new dashboard and high-resolution touch screen(s) inside the cabin are easy to use, intuitive, and user-friendly. Soundproofing, seals, and viscous cabin mounts reduce noise and vibrations to provide a quieter working environment. The standard manual measuring unit steering wheel allows for very high precision, for maximum comfort and accuracy. An optional electrohydraulic manipulator steering circuit (which replaces the standard manual measuring unit steering wheel) is also available in many regions. The new generation anti-roll control works like a damper, allowing for a smoother ride for the driver on difficult terrains.

Cat Technologies are a series of tools for monitoring, managing, and improving construction work. - Cat Payload with Assist precisely measures the weight* of bucket payloads. The data is displayed in real-time to improve productivity and accurately measure the payload through manual dumping. - Product Link™ wirelessly connects the machine to the office, allowing access to production information and essential health requirements for quick and informed decision-making to better manage your business. - The new Autodig function allows the operator to fully automate bucket loading to improve filling factors and loading time. - Automatic definition tires encourage proper loading techniques, significantly reducing tire slippage and wear. Optional Cat Advanced Payload with Assist*: - The automatic tipping assistance function automates final bucket loading to meet the planned loading time. - List management, job site integration, and extended scale improvement functions help manage and improve productivity and profitability of operations. Increased Energy Efficiency and Productivity
New Autodig components with automatic definition tires for high and uniform bucket filling factors offer up to 10% higher productivity compared to the previous Cat model. With a five-speed transmission and a lock-up torque converter, the powertrain allows for smooth gear changes, quick acceleration, and uphill speed, conducive to improving performance and energy efficiency. Single clutch and gear change between stops for fast acceleration and speed on slopes. The Z-bar linkage* provides high ground breakout force. The optimized Z-bar linkage* offers parallel lift function for precise control of the work tool. Performance Series buckets use a system approach to balance the bucket shape with linkage capabilities, resulting in higher filling factors and better material retention compared to other buckets of the same nominal capacity. Application profiles allow for optimizing machine settings for different applications at the push of a button. Work supports enable operators to improve and optimize their skills. The engine idle shutdown system significantly reduces idle times, total hours, and fuel consumption. The deeply integrated engine, powertrain, and hydraulic circuit offer unmatched productivity and energy efficiency. Optional differential locks are engaged on the fly, improving traction and thus enhancing productivity, reducing tire scraping, and consequently lowering operating costs. The Fusion™ quick coupler allows for quickly changing work tools without leaving the cab, enabling swift task switching. *Configurations and optional equipment may vary by region and must comply with Caterpillar's payload policy. Security Features
The rear camera enhances visibility at the back of the machine to allow you to work safely and confidently. The cabin is accessible through a wide door, an optional remote door opening, and staircase-shaped steps that ensure stability in any situation. The windshield, extending from the floor to the ceiling, the large mirrors with integrated blind spot mirrors, and the rear camera provide excellent panoramic visibility. Computerized monitoring center with multiple warning indicators. The monitored seat belt is provided as standard and can be upgraded with an optional external indicator. The optional 360° visibility system allows the driver to monitor what is happening around the machine at all times. The optional Cat Detect radar technology raises awareness of the environment by monitoring the work environment and sending alerts to drivers in case of danger. Optional access lighting and an access lighting system for maintenance under the hood provide illuminated access to the machine and daily controls, even in the dark.

Specific versions for the application directly from the factory for optimized performance and enhanced durability in the most challenging applications: - The Industrial and Waste Sector models include the necessary protections and reinforcements for work in transfer stations, recycling depots, landfills, and demolition sites. - The Forestry model increases lifting and digging capacities for efficient and productive work in log and chip processing in paper or pellet mills and sawmills. - The Steelworks model is designed for the harsh working environments of steel mills and slag handling applications, and it includes enhanced safety features.
