The 992 CAT^® wheel loader has set the standard in its size class for over 50 years, offering cutting-edge productivity, unmatched reliability, and long lifespan. Today's 992 raises the bar even higher. Compared to the 992K, the new 992 is up to 48% more efficient and 32% more productive, thanks to a higher payload for improved compatibility, increased rim pull and breakout force, as well as an optimized linkage design. Extended component replacement intervals and increased filter and turbo lifespan contribute to reduced maintenance costs. These improvements, among others, combine to provide significant savings over the machine's lifespan and generate the lowest ownership and operating costs in the industry. With its standard or high lift configurations, the 992 offers ideal compatibility for Cat 775, 777, and 785 truck fleets.
